About the project
Nothing to sell.
Something worth saying.
NeverTrade.org is a nonprofit educational project challenging the idea that frequent speculative trading is a reliable path to a better life.
It started with a letter.
In the original letter, Andrei Polgar—creator of One Minute Economics—describes why the retail trading phenomenon concerns him. The site now gives that message more ways to travel: sources to inspect, ideas to understand, tools to try and graphics to share.

A strong position, with a clear scope.
We call short-term speculative trading gambling. That is the project’s advocacy position, not a legal definition of every financial transaction. This website distinguishes speculation from long-term investing, recognizes that some traders profit, and does not pretend that a diversified portfolio removes all risk.
Useful should mean accessible.
No paywall. No broker sign-up. No referral codes. No public leaderboard of pledges. No invented community numbers. You can use the site without giving us your name or email address.
A note on nonprofit status.
“Nonprofit project” describes the purpose of this initiative. This website does not claim registered-charity status, tax-exempt status or tax-deductibility of donations, and it does not collect donations.
How to help.
Share a resource with someone who might benefit. Use a campaign graphic. Put a badge on your own site. Read the evidence carefully and help us identify claims that need correction. A considerate message to one person is more valuable than spamming a thousand strangers.
